A: Use a strong, double-walled box with no previous damage, rips, or soft spots. Do not reuse old Amazon boxes or random diaper boxes. It must be fully enclosed and fit in a shipping box meeting the specified dimensions correlating to # of balls being shipped listed in the packaging instructions. Poor packaging voids all coverage.
A: You can ship a tote or bag, BUT it must be fully enclosed and fit in a shipping box meeting the specified dimensions correlating to # of balls being shipped. Bags and totes alone are not secure or protected in transit. No exceptions.
A: No. You must use the shipping label we send you. If you don’t, we won’t be able to track it or help you if anything goes wrong. That includes lost, late, or damaged shipments.
A: You can drop it off at any authorized carrier location listed in your booking email. If you’re at a tournament, check if there’s an official drop-off booth. If not, you’re responsible for getting it to the correct location.
A: You are responsible for calling ahead and confirming that the location will accept and hold your package. Once it’s marked “delivered” by the carrier and someone at that location signs for it, we are no longer liable.
A: No. If your package is marked “delivered” by the carrier and then disappears, that’s between you and your porch or your front desk. Our protection ends upon the delivery scan.
A: If you purchased shipping protection and your package was properly packed, you can file a claim. We’ll either replace the ball with a similar one or pay out up to the selected protection limit. You must file within 7 days of delivery and provide photos and proof of value.
A: Every shipment comes with $100 of free coverage. If you want more, you can upgrade to $250, $500, or $1,000 coverage when you book. Insurance must be added at the time of booking and before you drop off the shipment. You can’t add it later.
A: Yes, but protection limits are per ball and per shipment. $250 per ball max, up to 4 balls in one shipment. If you’re shipping more than 4, book a second order.
A: Email us right away at support@bowlingballshipping.com. If the label hasn’t been scanned yet, we can usually fix it. Once it’s dropped off or picked up, it’s locked in.
A: If it’s lost or damaged and we can’t replace it, we’ll reimburse you based on your original
purchase value, not the aftermarket price. No payouts for sentimental or subjective value.
